Maybe you should work for the 30+ creditable magazines and internet reviews out there who all missed this.

You mean 30+ creditable websites and magazines have all said that both games are identical, but you see all these differences. If he's using two TVs what are they? Are you playing the PS3 version in 1080p? I have the PS3 version and I don't see this, I will rent the Xbox 360 version tonight and do a real comparison, and on the same TV and same resolution.

Call of Duty 4 on the PS3 seems to have changed everyone mind now about the PS3. Good job Infinity Ward.

The PS3 does not upscale for the 10,000 time. Call of Duty 4 also does run in 1080p. What ever the native resolution is the PS3 does not upscale the game to run in 1080p.

Sorry forgot that one.

Ok very simple to play call of duty in 1080p. In the menu go to -
1. settings
2. Display Settings
3. Video output Settings
4. HDMI/Component
5. Select a Setting Method
6. Custom
7. (Important) deselect 720p,1080i
8. 480p and 1080p should only be selected
9. Insert Call Of Duty 4
10. Play Game in 1080p

And this is just the beginning for the PS3 to destroy the Xbox 360. So leave you mothers basement get a real job, and suck it up. You are the loser.

You need to customize you video setting through your PS3 to only display 1080i. I had the same problem with Warhawk, and if I didn't do this the game would default to 720p.

Unbelievable, if you are havening problems setting your resolution just go through your PS3 video setting, select customs settings and de-select all the resolution that you TV/Monitor can't support. I have already tested this with Warhawk, which again is 1080i, and if you dont set the PS3 video settings to only display 1080i then the game defaults to 720p.

What ever gets you through the night. The fact is the PS3 will start out performing the Xbox 360. Assassin Creed has already starting showing differences, and looking better on PS3. If you can't see that there more rain particles you may need to take off you Xbox 360 fan-boy glasses.

They where off about 1/2 a frame, and thats not going to change the fact there was more rain particles on PS3. The fact is if the Xbox 360 had more of something, every web sit across America would of starting bashing the PS3. Instead all the reviews have been just copied and pasted. Before I would have bought the 360 version but the tide has changed. Now on to Assassin's Creed compassions.

There where very small differences, for instance there where definitely more rain particles on the PS3 version than Xbox 360. This may seem like nothing, but it actually proves they are not identical. Also these clips are very short and in low resolution so this may be nothing, but the fact is that the further we start comparing the more I think the PS3 will shine.

Before I purchased this TV I study and returned TV after TV. Your right Samsung and Sony where very close, but what sold me was Bravia Xross Media Bar. Like I said it was hard, but I had a much easier time navigating and more customizing settings on the Brovia.

The 360 version is 480p, 720p, 1080i, I did read somewhere else that the Xbox 360 version max resolution was only 720p. Most likely Xbox 360 upscales the game to 1080p. For example Gears of War clearly states on the back of the box max resolution 1080i, but the game plays in 1080p, because of the Xbox upscales the games. Now I have also done some testing on the PS3,and there is no upscaling, actually it would downscale the game. For example the Max resolution for Warhawk is 1080i, and unles...

If you own both consoles (ps3 xbox 360 like me), you have the right to buy the better version of the game. If the PS3 has better whatever I need proof and the same go for the Xbox version. After all the smack talking towards the PS3 and how developers are have problems porting games, there is no way both games are idenical. BTW why has every review so far been copy and paste.

What kind of comparison is this, at least take the same photos. why is so hard to get definite answer.

I want a review, and not form Xbox official Mag or PSU. The games out today WTF is going on.

That was the most realistic game I've ever seen. If anybody says differently, your just trying to start a blog war. If vehicles in the final build take damage, this would seal the deal for anybody with working eye balls (one or two).

The PS3 doesn't have memory issues. Stop go by what everyone else is saying and do some of your own research. If you really want do to the PS3 memory configuration is much more efficient than the Xbox 360.
